After over 20 years working at Sony Games, on some of the world’s most popular games, Jason Riley decided to leave the games industry and start a new career where he could combine his two passions - space and 3D Visualisation.
In this webinar Jason will talk about his journey from game development to working on projects with NASA and some of the world’s leading space architecture firms. Jason will also discuss how some of the world’s leading space organisations are increasingly using 3D modelling and Visualisation to design and test space technology systems as they prepare to return astronauts to the moon and then onto Mars.
Touch Immersion
Touch Immersion are an immersive engineering start-up that uses virtual and augmented reality as tools to increase the scalability and proficiency of training for STEM higher education, space and engineering companies.
Tal Horton-Horsman and Campbell Drummond, the founders of Touch Immersion, will talk about how they set up Touch Immersion while still at university and about the increasing importance of immersive and virtual reality across the space sector.
Jason, Tal and Campbell will then talk about the advice he can give to young people with an interest in 3D modelling, virtual reality and game development who are interested in careers in the space and related sectors.
